Share your experience with Open science at the University of Lille!

Do you engage in any Open science research practices (sharing publications, data, source code and software, protocols, etc.)? Your experience is valuable and deserves to be shared and highlighted!

In order to raise awareness of Open science issues within the university community, a series of short videos on open science will be produced. These will focus on personal testimonials from people who practice open science – including researchers, lecturers, PhD students and engineers – from a wide range of disciplines.

These testimonials will highlight the issues surrounding open science (free sharing, scientific integrity, transparency, etc.), the various practices of open science (sharing publications, data, source code and software), commitment to open science infrastructures, and the assistance and support that researchers have received on this subject.

Practical details:

  • Short videos (2-3 minutes), which means limited filming time
  • A simple filming session, in the lab, or if that is not possible, in another location (for example in one of the libraries)
  • A set of 3-4 questions will be sent out in advance. The aim is to encourage discussion, but the format is completely adaptable.

Timeline:

  • Filming will take place in phases starting in December 2025 and continuing throughout 2026.
  • The first videos will be released in February, if possible, and then gradually throughout the year.
