A roadmap for open science
In the autumn of 2021, in conjunction with the Second French Plan for Open Science, the University of Lille published its roadmap dedicated to Open Science, which details 22 actions based on 5 pillars:
- Open access to scientific publications
- Opening up scientific data
- Open scientific publishing
- Participatory research
- Support for open science initiatives and participation in its ecosystem
History
2025
- Creation of a website and a visual identity dedicated to open science
2024
- Release of a new edition of the Passport for Open Science collection and publication of a new guide dedicated to research data
- Launch of the PEREN platform
- The University of Lille was awarded funding for the ANR project OSYR, which aims to study open science training and awareness-raising initiatives that are aimed at early-career researchers.
- The University of Lille joined the GIS CollEx-Persée 2. The University co-sponsored the digitisation programme with the UMS Persée.
2023
- The University of Lille, along with the Committee for Open Science, developed five video clips based on the Passport for Open Science.
- Launch of Lille Open Research Data, a Recherche Data Gouv data management cluster (funded by the National Fund for Open Science).
2022
- The University of Lille, along with the Committee for Open Science, created two new guides: Source code and software and Join the debate.
- Creation of the APC fund, to support the university's authors in the payment of publication fees.
- Creation of Lillodata, the institutional data-sharing space, hosted on the national Recherche Data Gouv platform.
- Launch of Lillonum, the University of Lille's digital heritage library.
- Signing of a partnership agreement with Persée, aimed at making the university's journal archives available on the Persée portal, as well as the gradual deployment of a Persée digitisation production line at the University of Lille.
2021
- Involvement in the steering committee and communication mission of Recherche Data Gouv, the ecosystem for sharing and opening up research data
- Publication of the Roadmap for Open Science for the University of Lille
2020
- The University of Lille, along with the Committee for Open Science, published the Passport for Open Science for the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
- The University of Lille was awarded funding for the ORA-HDF project, which aimed to create a journal platform for the Hauts-de-France region. The project, funded by the National Fund for Open Science, would lead to the creation of the PEREN platform.
2018
- Launch of LillOA, the institutional open archive, linked to HAL, the national open archive.
2014
- Design of the first Open Science training courses for doctoral students as part of the COMUE Lille Nord Europe.
