Open science webinars - programme 2026-2027
A series of 15 webinars on Open science is scheduled for the 2026–2027 academic year, intended for members of the University of Lille’s research labs. Take a look at the programme!
Open Science is now at the heart of public research policy at European, national and local levels. It directly affects leaders of funded projects (European projects, ANR, ADEME, Anses, etc.), but is also of interest more broadly to the entire scientific community wishing to disseminate their work in a more open and visible manner.
To support research teams with these changes, the University of Lille libraries are offering a series of 15 ‘Open Science’ webinars, each lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, which are open to members of research labs.
As the field of Open Science continues to expand each year, the webinar programme is also changing:
- This year, you have access to webinars on the dissemination of publications, the management and sharing of research data, as well as best practices in software development, the archiving of source code, and the use of researcher identifiers.
- Another new feature this year is that the programme has been expanded to include two webinars in English, aimed at an international audience: an introductory webinar on open science and how to use the services offered by the University of Lille; and a webinar on using Software Heritage. (If you have questions about the topics covered only in French-language webinars, and you do not speak French, you can contact us at science-ouverteuniv-lillefr for assistance in English.)
These webinars provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of current developments, to anticipate the expectations of funding bodies, and to identify best practices to be implemented in research projects and activities.
