LORD (Lille Open Research Data) now has a website!
The LORD (Lille Open Research Data) data management cluster has launched its website to raise awareness of its services and to share its news.

In 2024, during the first LORD seminar, a working group identified several needs:
-
Practical information: information sheets, links to platforms, tools... and not juste a showcase website;
-
A presentation of the LORD team: who is behind LORD? how to contact LORD?
-
Smooth navigation: no endless clicking or pages that go on forever!
The website of the LORD data management cluster also needed to reflect the very nature of our cluster: a collective space for sharing best practices, learning and developing skills together on topics related to research data, code and software, and a community of people who work on these topics.
To meet these needs, a working group was formed to finalise the project and translate it into web pages.
After a year of work, the website is now available online. You will find:
- information on LORD and the LORD team,
- educational pages to help researchers and research staff better manage their data, code and software,
- information sheets and tools grouped together in a toolbox (French only for the moment) that continues to be updated,
- links to partners' resources and training sessions (French only for the moment),
- stories and feedback from the community (French only for the moment),
- and a link to our single contact form (French only for the moment)!
