The Pépite platform has reached a major milestone: 10,000 thèses d'exercice (professional theses) defended by UFR3S interns are now available online.

As it celebrates its tenth anniversary, the Pépite platform has just passed a symbolic milestone: 10,000 medical thèses d'exercice (professional theses) are now referenced and disseminated on the platform. Written and defended by interns from the UFR3S (Health and Sports Sciences), these theses constitute a rich scientific output, rooted in clinical practice and issues encountered in the field.

Unlike doctoral theses, thèses d'exercice mark the end of medical studies (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry). They are based on original work—clinical studies, epidemiological surveys, practice analyses, literature reviews—and contribute directly to improving knowledge and professional practices. They thus represent an essential link between university education, applied research, and quality of care.

By ensuring their dissemination in full text, and mostly in open access, Pépite plays a key role in highlighting their value. The platform guarantees long-term archiving, national and international visibility, and optimised referencing in academic search engines. It is an integral part of the university's Open Science policy as it facilitates access to the research work produced by its students and young medical professionals.
