[Doctoral training session] First steps in Open science: understanding, discussing, getting involved

This training session is part of the Open Science track coordinated by the University of Lille's libraries (Service commun de documentation) and designed in collaboration with the UPHF's libraries (Service commun de documentation).

Programme: This day-long introduction to open science will feature three presentations in an auditorium as well as a time for discussion at stands presenting the various actions, services, and platforms related to Open science that are available to doctoral students during their PhD.
The following topics will be covered:
▪ Definition of the different aspects of open science
▪ International, national, and local policies promoting Open science
▪ Advantages and value of Open science
▪ Presentation of tools, services, and platforms linked to Open science
▪ The legal framework for Open science

This training course is intended for first-year PhD students at the University of Lille. It is primarily intended for PhD students at the BSL, SESAM, SJPG and SMRE graduate schools.

Objectives: Understand the fundamental concepts of the Open Science ecosystem in order to comprehend its issues and benefits in the context of scientific research.
