[Doctoral training session] Improving scientific visibility: ORCID, networks and digital identity

This training session is part of the Open Science track coordinated by the University of Lille's libraries (Service commun de documentation) and designed in collaboration with the UPHF's libraries (Service commun de documentation).

Programme:

Understand the procedures for the electronic deposit of your thesis: national procedures and specificities of your institution. By looking at the structuring of the document, the session will highlight the issues involved in archiving and disseminating a digital thesis.

Objectives: 

  • Understand the issues surrounding scientific visibility and digital identity in the context of open science.
  • Be familiar with and know how to use the main tools for visibility (researcher identifiers, dissemination platforms, scientific and social networks).
  • Create and optimise your ORCID profile to promote your work and ensure it is correctly identified.
  • Learn how to manage and control your digital identity as a researcher according to your discipline and career goals.
